These draft terms govern use of Speedometer PRO by Xtra App Studios. They must be reviewed before publishing.
Terms of use: estimates only
Speed, distance, heading and trip statistics are estimates based on satellite positioning and may be inaccurate. The app is not a calibrated measuring instrument and must not be relied on for legal, safety-critical or commercial purposes.
Safe use
You are responsible for obeying traffic laws. Do not operate the app while driving or riding. Mount your device securely and only where permitted by law.
Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions are billed and renewed by Google Play or Apple under their terms. Manage or cancel them in your store account.
Accuracy disclaimer
GPS-based speed and distance depend on satellite visibility, device hardware and software, and environment. Tall buildings, trees, tunnels and weak signal can make readings inaccurate or unavailable. Always rely on your vehicle's instruments and posted limits.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app under these terms and the terms of the store you downloaded it from.
Ads
The free version displays third-party ads. Ad content is supplied by ad networks, not by us.
Prohibited use
Do not use the app for racing, for evidence in legal proceedings as a calibrated instrument, or in any way that breaks traffic law. Do not reverse-engineer or resell the app.
Third-party services
Maps are provided by Mapbox and purchases by Apple or Google. Their own terms apply to those services, and we are not responsible for their availability.
Ending use
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Cancel any Premium subscription in your App Store or Google Play account first, because deleting the app does not cancel billing. We may stop offering the app or features, with notice where the law requires it.

You agree to use the app only in ways that are safe and legal where you are. Don't interact with the app while driving or riding; set it up beforehand or let a passenger operate it. Speed, distance and other figures are GPS estimates and may be wrong. Don't rely on them for legal, insurance, enforcement or tax purposes without checking official records. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version.

To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided as is, without warranties.
